Kervan hostel is within the centre of town, a little hard to discover at first, but very good environment and a extremely friendly hostel owner, who has a little gift shop (wallets / bags etc) that uses recycled material - extremely cool!

It was in a nice location, really near to Alexander Nevsky cathedral and other sights, free Web and free wireless was a key plus, and it was quite clean.
