Refurbished over the winter of 2009-2010 The English guest house now has 9 rooms, 3 of which have en-suite bathrooms, which can be made into either, singles, double, twins or triples. We are currently creating a lot more rooms, one of which will be a dormitory sleeping 10, when it is completed it will be bookable through this site.

Great location, just a few blocks from the main square. Owner spoke fantastic English, breakfast was extremely good, with loits of choices (including cooked dishes, not just the usual cerial and toast at lots of places).

The staff were extremely friendly. Location was best for the town and Danube river. I was the first to use the new bathroom put in and also the shower was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful lodging and also the proprietor is a lovely lady; really helpful and friendly. Stayed in the 5 bed air con room which was huge. Fantastic cooking area facilities downstairs. A lot of rooms but never felt crowded. One of the very best places we stayed.
