I loved staying at Cobreu. The staff were over the top helpful from calling taxis, to directions, to points to do in the day and at night. The breakfast was BANGING with eggs, coffee, fruit, and more. Yea, the house is old but the showers are clean and beds comfy. Also, pretty much at all times it was noiseless and relaxing. But in case you want more fun, the bar downstairs had cheap drinks and GREAT music.

I can not speak highly enough about this hostel. Loved it, really loved it. The employees are among the most friendly I have ever come across, the location just in the historic center is wonderful and safe enough, the Tuesday Party on the steps nearby to the hostel is loud, infectious, great fun and Brazilian. Exceptional breakfast, superb facilities, and a real nice bar in the base of the building to chat with fellow travellers and locals. I wish I could have stayed longer.

It&'s in an excellent location, I loved the historic center as it has all you need close by. The breakfast is ok, some items would run out and not be replaced and also the fruit wasn&'t really fresh. Wireless had a bad connection which kept dropping out. I&'m surprised this place got such good reviews.

Location inside the center of Pelourinho, just near to the music stage (great night on Tuesdays - extremely recommended to all people loving brasilian music and dance:)) Tasty breakfast including selection of fresh fruits.

Excellent location. It is THE place to be for the large party on the Pelhourino on Tuesday nghts. Flexible staff. Fantastic breakfast. Superb bar downstairs.

What an amazing staff! They were VERY warm and friendly and went out there way to create us feel welcome. Warm smiles, great attitudes, and entirely understanding when we arrived at 5:30am within the morning due to a delay in our flight.
