It is in the centre of Pelourinho. Really great location especially for the night of samba or day of santa barbara, with a view on the event. Rose is very friendly. Joao has been helpfull with his information. Free internet.

Simple hostel, but in an unbeatable location. Set in a lovely old building, the hostel is run by a family who are very helpful and warm and friendly - English speaking. Represents very great value for money if you are interested in an reasonably priced private room.

Great location, right inside the middle of Pelourinho! The owner is really warm and friendly and helpful and also the whole spot is really clean. Be aware, the bathroom is on the balcony. But it&'s clean and it was really great value for money.

Great location within the historical district - on the &"marching band&" parade route for Carnaval. Helpful household staff. Decent breakfast.

Very kind and friendly owners ! some hours the day, you can meet the whole family there. Roses english is very good - we were really happy about that. Only few individuals in Salvador are able to speak or understand english.

Owner was really helpful, she walked us to the marketplace and even made my partner some herbal remedy tea to help her sore throat! Nice quiet place for some down time following carnaval.
