Location is awesome. Employees is great. The Bar is kind off good, althoug it could change the very old furniture, especially the huge sofa. Breakfast is good.

Staff were extremely helpful (posting a coat that we left there on to Sao Paulo), cleaners attentive, safety excellent, nicely equipt cooking area and priced reasonably bar. Wonderful environment and excellent for meeting people and discovering a amazing city.

We stayed in this hostel for three nights and tried to book again when we returned to Rio- it was full but the staff helped us locate another place. The hostel is small but very clean and nicely decorated. I cant speak highly enough of the staff, in particular Dominque. They are all really helpful and friendly - they even organised a night out bringing a number of guests to a street party and a samba club! The breakfast is lovely and during the night they have a small bar which makes excellent Caipirinhas and is a very good place to meet other travellers. Overall the environment was great, laid back and fun! Ty also organised a reaonably priced transfer from the airport. Ill definitely stay here again if I make it back to Rio!

Great setting and staff. Clean rooms and nice location. We travelled for 2 months and this is the very best one for sure.
