This hostel is inside the heart of Lapa so great for nightlife. It&'s extremely straightforward to get to the Bohemian region of Santa Teresa from here also. You have a fab balcony which is a prime location for individuals watching. It is extremely low-cost for Rio but for that the facilities are a bit grimmy along with the beds are pretty poor.

We particularly liked the environment in this hostel, the employees was (mostly) warm and friendly and relaxed, our room and also the beds were really okay. Especially the free drinks (caipirinha or wodka) during the night time were really nice, so we were always staying inside the hostel prior to going out in lapa. Ideal Hostel for wild nights in Rio! (If you are rather planning on a noiseless trip visiting all of the sights, you should probably locate another hostel)

There is an Irish bar underneath the hostel. What much more do you want The owner, upon hearing there was an astonishingly great looking Irish man (moi of course) frequenting his establishment, insisted in sharing an irish whisey with me. Not wanting to dampen his enthusiasm, I agreed. He returned two mins later with what can only be described as two pints of Jameson! We are now happily married. nice views within the hostel over the streets, great party atmosphere. I somehow slept lie a baby within the dorms. However, I put this down to a combination of voluminous amounts of Jameson (see above) and my suspicions of a gas leak. which definitely aided my nights sleep.

Perfect place to stay during Carnaval! Lapa Rocks! Right inside the eye of the storm that is certainly carnaval! Great friendly, party atmosphere. Superb value during this period, We had an amzing time at Samba Villa, Rio is a great place!

Great hostel if you are easy going and looking for a fun time in Rio! This hostel is located in what at first seems to be a very sketchy area, but once you get used to Rio's atmosphere you feel right at home. Good hostel, nice staff, nice people, good price. If you are under 40 and dont mind a tiny bathroom then this hostel will be a fun place for you to stay.

Great hostel if you are effortless going and looking for a enjoyable time in Rio! This hostel is located in what at first seems to be a very sketchy area, but once you get used to Rio&'s setting you feel right at home. Exceptional hostel, nice staff, nice people, great price. In case you are under 40 and dont mind a tiny bathroom then this hostel will be a enjoyable spot for you to stay.
