The location on a slope of Santa Teresa with a marvellous view to the center. The friendlyness of the staff, the very good breakfast inside the saloon of the old villa. The terraces with sights of the center. - They gave us (elder couple, over 70) a real very good quiet room with aircon and private bathroom. They all spoke a really very good English, so that we often could get very good informations about what to do.

Great bar, superb parties, along with the locals come along too, giving the spot a fantastic vibe. Great location near everything. Also, staff were amazingly accommodating during the busiest time of the year and very patient with my frequent and crazy requests! Thanks guys!

It was clean and extremely safe. They had safety 24/7 and lockers for your things. The bar on the roof was gorgeous with stunning views, although the pool was not extremely usable. The location of Rio Hostel Santa Teresa is wonderful for discovering Lapa nightlife and also the gorgeous hills of Santa Teresa - also for taking the trolley down to the city center.

I really loved this hostel, its really spacious and has a brilliant view of the city. The roof top pool and bar are really cool and we met alot of very good people here.

Great bar for meeting people. Exceptional location for going out in Lapa. Large room, plenty of warm water all of the time.
