Superb location near subway station (across the street) and near to Copacabana beach. A lot of grocery shops and bars/restaurants nearby. Excellent price. Friendly staff with very good english. Tasty juices on breakfast, often fresh bread. For this price i recommend El Misti. The only thing they should take care of is mildew in bath rooms and some damaged lockers in some rooms.

I often use this hostel when i came to rio always. every single time i appreciate the atmosphere of El Misti Rio. I suggested this hostel than any other el misti and others. . especially the tours are very recommended.

The environment is fantastic along with the location is perfect. Is really near to the beach, eating places and metro station. I really make a superb friends and knew beautiful individuals in El Misti.
