Haris Youth HostelAccommodation Type : Hostel From May 1st 2011, we are pleased to provide our guests a daily all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast for 1. 50 Euros in a garden courtyard 2 minutes walk from the hostel. We now have a 4-bed private room with ensuite, accessible from 20/04/11. Since summer 2010 we have had a reception desk in the hostel, so you can now check in, take a look at and pay either in our central office or in the hostel itself.

Haris, the owner, is completely awesome. He was funny and cooked a very good breakfast every morning. I forgot my camera in the hostel, and he offered to mail it back to my address in the United States. Genuinely a standup guy. The view from the hostel is incredible, the common room is comfy, and it has a exceptional atmosphere. People complain about the hill, but honestly, it&'s really not that bad.

Haris Youth Hostel has been one of the greatest hostels I have stayed at on my four months of travelling around Europe. It&'s a very warm and welcoming hostel and Haris has done an awesome job at adding his personal touches. From the moment I arrived he was far more than welcoming and accomidating! He provided me with all the information needed to create my stay in Bosnia all the far more enjoyable! I would be pleased to recommend this hostel to anyone travelling in Bosnia! Thank you Haris.

Feels like home. So calm and the other travellers there are also really mellow and cruisy. The crowd that was there when I was, was great and stayed in most nights, drinking, playing chess/backgammon and having a chat.

The employees are very helpful. The common room area is really fantastic for meeting individuals and the tour that Haris does is absolutely excellent! The view from the hostel is spectacular.

Haris is a really fantastic guy, really helpful and his hostel has a really slow paced life in an remarkable location just up the hill from the old town. Haris really made our stay, full of useful info about the location and Bosnia itself. Numerous thanks to him and his team :)

Haris and his sister are fantastic hosts! We arrived at 8am and by 9am our room was ready for us. We had a private room which was extremely cozy and clean. We were able to do our washing and book city tours with Haris as well. Haris actually takes the tour which I extremely recommend! Really interesting and value for money.

Nice cosy little hostel which is family run that feels a lot more like a home than a hostel. Balcony is fantastic for some arvo beers and pre drinking. Kitchen is huge enough to get some epic masterchef action happening.

Haris, and his hostel, are BRILLIANT! From a really warm welcome and free barbeque when I arrived, the day spent on the really exciting and informative tour, and then the night spent drinking and dancing with Haris and half the hostel. loved every single minute of my stay here.
