I really liked this place. Reception employees were super friendly, there was no cost breakfast and wi-fi, the kitchen is fantastic with lots of utensils and cooking supplies at the same time as storage space, along with the seating region by the kitchen has a lot of space at the same time as a tv which created fantastic atmospheres for enjoying footy games or F1 or whatever was on that crowds wanted to watch. It was straightforward to meet people inside the common areas, and there is certainly no cost luggage storage if you arrive early or leave after have a look at time. The location is immediately on the Kings Cross strip, so it&'s a bit crazy outside on weekend nights, but the hostel locks up and is safe and silent inside with keycard entry. Rooms and bath rooms are cleaned well daily. There were lots of outlets obtainable in rooms and extra extensions also. They were really accommodating when I wanted to extend my stay and did their best to arrange for me to stay inside the room I was already in; they also had no problem with providing me an extra blanket when it was freezing the first night of my stay. It was a extremely friendly, homey atmosphere.

The location was amazing! Literally right nearby to a subway stop, but also super easy to walk down to Circular Quay and everywhere else we wanted to go. The wireless was also free!

It has a really superb location walking distance to almost all the sites and right next to the metro. The employees is really helpful along with the people staying are super nice. As a female travelling alone I felt completely secure

Free wine Friday is a great way of meeting people. On the whole this is a great hostel if you&'re soon after somewhere inexpensive and cheerful. The cross is a great location with loads of pubs and bars nearby and a 30 minute walk into the centre of Sydney. Staff were on the whole warm and friendly and helpful and also the hostel is kept clean.

This is a really cool hostel. I had such a very good time when staying here. I&'ve had some bad experiences at some other hostels but the Jackaroo raised my opinion of hostels again. It&'s a really clean hostel and they always have things going on. The no cost wine friday was super fun and also the no cost bbq was great. The staff are so warm and friendly and helpful and i met so several cool people there. I ended up staying way longer than i was supposed to. Will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Sydney next year.

Free wireless and no cost wine friday were great. Staff very nice and always so helpful to me and everyone. Hostel is very clean, always seen someone cleaning bathrooms and common areas. Greatest location in kings cross, right near to train station. Had a great time, finest hostel i ever stayed.
