It was the nicest staff we have ever met! Everything was possible and they were so helpfull. They had alot of free delivers like pick up at the busstop, transfer to the koala hospital, one of the beaches and to a golf club soon after opening hours to see kangaroos. It was just an incredible place and we would recomment it to everybody.

The BEST hostel I ever stayed at during my travels in New Zealand and Australia! The homely environment is something all backpackers long for when away from house for a long time. The room was spacious, colourful and had extremely cozy beds with freshly washed linen. The blankets are thick and warm but if you do get cold there&'s always an extra blanket at your disposal, just ask for it :) Bathrooms are as clean as they can get and there&'s always hot water, not common to all the hostels I stayed at. 24/7 kitchen and lounge location makes it a ideal location to relax! The staff is always ready to help you with anything you might need. Thanks Vera and Dita for your amazing hospitality and wonderful playlist. You rock! I wish I had visited in summer so I could enjoy your cool swimming pool! The owner has arranged for a bunch of discounts throughout the town which will get you large pizzas for $5. 50, discounted coffee, hot chocolate and ice-cream. The town itself is booming with activities. Nine beaches, surf school, vineyard with free wine tastings, cafes, bars and restaurants, all inside a walking distance of the hostel. I had my hands full to see it all! There is a free shuttle to the Koala Hospital and free drop off and pick up service at the bus stop. I simply had an amazing time at your stunning location and wouldn&'t hesitate for a second to stay with you again! Thanks!

Very small and homely. The lady in the reception was pretty and very helpful. No cost tea and coffee were provided. Had good arrangements and deals with dominoes and a close coffee shop

Toni and his employees are very friedly and helpfull, picked us up at the coach terminal and also dropped us of. They informed us about Port Maquarie very well. Along with the rooms at the same time as the shared bath rooms are very clean, same for the kitchen. We also liked the relaxing athmosphere, especially right after the very busy Sydney.

I had an really very good stay at Port Macquarie Backpackers. A fantastic little place with awesome staff. The trip started with a free pick-up from the bus (and there was a free drop-off back at the most effective when I left Port Mac, super nice! ) The place itself is so comfy: salt water pool and hammocks in the back, relax music, 24 hour cooking area with free tea and coffee, veranda with lounges, clean linens on the bed that are made for you when you get there, fans in the rooms, etc. Easily the cleanest place I&'ve stayed during my travels through New Zealand and Australia. Besides the free body boards and free fishing gear, the property owner has arranged for some fantastic discounts around town. My favorites were the discount at the coffee shop across the street along with the Domino&'s pizza-$5. 50 for a large is the most effective price I&'ve seen since I&'ve been in Australia. The driver also took us out to see kangaroos in the evening. This was also free and got some of my greatest kangaroo photos since I&'ve been in Australia from this little trip. Such an excellent place to relax out soon after a crazy few weeks in Sydney. 9 amazing beaches, the koala hospital, free wine tasting up the street--perfect! And seriously, soon after being shocked at the prices in Sydney, I felt the hostel was a bargain, such a far better price, honestly. I&'m trying to stay a few much more nights here on my way back down the coast.

I really liked absolutly everything here! Tony, Vera and staff were really friendly, helpfull and the hostel was clean and very good value for money. I really enjoyed my stay and I&'m already thinking of coming back! Recommendable!
