Very clean and tidy. I was quite impressed with the clealiness due to the fact I stayed a few backpacker hostel and this is one of the best. Hostel employees were extremely friendly. I attended their Barbeque night even. 2AUD for sausage bread, 4 AUD per beer. Good experience. There is a Oyster shop within 2 mins walking distance. I went there and bought a box of oyster for 12AUD. Super affordable and it is fresh. Shop owner Mark to me that the oyster was just harvested that morning 6am from Bruny Island. Super fresh! Recommend people to go there.

The no cost tours are must. The tour guide is super knowledgeable and friendly. The hostel is good, and Tasmania is my favourite place on earth right now. So pretty.

The fact there is a dog who greets guests during the week is fantastic, such a gorgeous touch. Shared bathroom is clean, private rooms decent, and most staff quite helpful. Huge space for lounging around and meeting other guests.

Nice hostel, large common area, the no cost shuttles are good in case you need them or in case you can go on them ( there&'s only 12 spots, so if it&'s busy it fills up quickly).
