The Gatehouse was enchanting and easy to find. The proprietor was friendly, extremely accomodating (we arrived late), and served a healthy breakfast. We chose it simply because it was fairly close to the Avalon/Melbourn airport. I&'d definitely stay there again and extremely recommend it to anyone.

Great location full of character spotless warm fantastic bed great quality linen hearty breakfast fantastic location within the heart of Geelong handy for stores eating out, entertainment and sea shore, despite being within the heart of the city the dwelling is lovely and silent the host could not have been far more helpful I will most definitely stay here again

A attractive 1879 house beautifully presented, a real step back in time with all modern conveniences. Situated right within the centre of Geelong so park the car and just walk.

Beautiful historical mansion, extremely clean and comfortable with free breakfast. We slept so properly in this spacious bedroom in winter with such powerful heater, washroom is also huge with nice bathtub. Greatest among all the very good things here, the Maintenance Lady is of the greatest integrity and honesty. Soon after we have checked out, she found my precious watch being left behind on the bed side table and she is so kind to return this treasure back to me. I am extremely grateful as this watch means so much sentimental value to me as given by my extremely beloved. Thanks alot to her, she has done humanity proud!

Very warm and friendly and helpful staff, we had to check in late due to attending a wedding nearby, employees were really accomodating about it all which made our stay really relaxing and the whole transaction was really easy. Stunning old well-kept building, will stay here again.
