This is literally the most magical spot I ever stayed. The location is awesome - tucked away within the rainforest but just steps away from the ocean. The beach is so private and secluded, it&'s unbelievable. I understand the reviews that say it was hard to meet people if you&'re a solo traveller (there were a lot of couples around when I was there) but I happened to meet a fantastic group of solo travellers when I was there and we had a grand old time. The alcohol isn&'t that expensive ($12 jugs) but the food is a lot more on the pricey side for backpackers so I reccommend you bring your own. The staff is super helpful with the booking of tours and just really nice in general. The owner came by one night and gave my group a couple bottles of wine and then took us down to the beach to stargaze. It&'s really overall such a incredibly stunning place.

Great scenic location. Literally, in the Rain Forest. so spiders and night life beware. Cabin like stay, one grade up from camping; so make sure this is your cup of teaD& J -Canada

Stunning location, feels like a million miles from anywhere. The set up of the beach house itself really adds to this experience. Nice just being that bit further away from the other hotels and hostels. The lodges themselves are really nice and you feel nestled into the rainforest. It is more a place for travellers than a typical 'backpackers'.
