Amazing, chilled, communal vibe. Warm and friendly backpackers and staff, all ready to share tips on which walks to do and where to eat/drink. superb value for money with the no cost breakkie && wifi. Exceptional communal space by the fire.

Firstly the staff are great. Ross takes care of you from first arriving and being offered a tea or coffee, to asking us everyday if we had plans and being there to give advice, maps etc. The guys staying at the hostel on a much more regular basis are all very welcoming, laid back and make you really feel comfortable straight away. Among 6-9pm each night there is certainly a no technology social time in the social areas of the hostel which is a great notion simply because everybody gets chatting and plays games together. However if you do need to do your own thing there are a lot of books and musical instruments that you can relax use near to the indoor or outdoor fire. Very nice breakfast on provide each morning, adding to the free tea and coffee all day plus the nice touch of cookies or cake on the evening. The location of the hostel in Katoomba is amazing for spending however long you like around the area simply because there are lots of lovely places to see. Highly suggest to everyone!

The room was nice, cosy and comfortable. Large living room with sofas. Cute cat. The man was helpful when we checked in. The inexpensive dinners were outstanding and breakfast and wireless are included.

I liked the house. The beds were super comfortable. Bunk bed was a bit annoying to get into but was very comfortable.

The employees were warm and welcoming. The property was well equipped with lockers, multiple power sockets, an excellent cooking area and communal area. Extra things like no cost tea and coffee, breakfast and cakes within the evening were nice touchs. The hostel tries hard to create an inclusive setting with three hours of no laptops and phones within the living area around a fire place.
