We got a double bedroom room for less than 80 bucks. Super low-cost and close to everything. Noiseless but lush.

Great location. Tacky outdated decoration but it had its charm. Fireplace within the common rooms greatly appreciated. Enough refrigerator space in a tidy kitchen

The lodge is really clean. I stayed there as a Backpacker for 2 weeks during Christmas and Silvester. It could get a bit Boeing but you can catch a train to sydney for only 8, 60. The lodge has 2 balconies, 1 terrassy and 3 public rooms plus 1 massive room for dining directly behindert the small but clean Kirchen. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm. It had no Windows but air conditions. The showers are massive and the toilets are always clean. The free public wireless is very fast and you can even skype with it. It is available in each and every room. All in all i can say the Katoomba mointain lodge is pretty good for all kinds of travelers. I would go there again when i would come back to Katoomba.

Staff really helpful. Provided tour and introduced us to other similar travelers. Felt safe. Clean but could use a couple hours with a swiffer bc of all of the bugs and cobwebs.

For a huge property like Katoomba Mountain Lodge, I must say it is extremely nicely kept, clean and tidy. It is in a extremely exceptional location central location.

We turned up, to be told that the booking had not been received, luckily the proprietor was able to offer you us alternative lodging at another property he owns for the same price. Lucky us, as it is the busiest time of the year within the mountains and everything was fully booked out!

The room had a comfy bed and there were extra blankets for when it got cold. You can buy the hop on hop off bus ticket at the lodge at a discounted price. There is a large sitting room, main kitchen and dining room and also some nice, sun room / balconies exactly where you can relax out. There is also a keycode to get in to the accomadation. The guy at the recption was helpful and did give me a couple of maps of the area which were really useful. The lodge is inside the middle of town and is straightforward to find.
