This is for shure one of the best hostels I&'ve seen. The cost is a little bit higher then Buenos Aires but the quality is pure luxurious. Enjoy the rooms, the garden, the kitchen, . everything. Don&'t forget to have a chat with the owner, you will stay for hours, if not days or more. Top !

Jorge the owner is an awesome host and makes you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. The spot is clean and in a really nice house. Feels a lot more like a B&B then a hostel.

The owner (Jorge) is a really hospital man, who tries to help u in anyway he can. It is not a party hostel, but a calm location to relax right after a busy city like Buenos Aires or Mar del Plata. The hostel looks warm and it has a nice garden to sit outside. Villa Gesell is a place for young people. The beach is wonderfull with a long wooden walk-way. i suggest u to walk or cycle to the next town, Mar de las Pampas, what is a cosy little village! I arranged some extra nights, due to the fact i loved it here!

Excellent hostel. Really chilled out with great staff. Needed a break for a few days after a while in BA and this hostel was totally perfect. I liked it so much I returned the following week.

This is by far the very best Hostel Ive stayed at during my 3 months of travel. La Deseada has everything you ask for in a hostel: clean rooms, clean bathrooms, hot showers, nice common area, totally equipped cooking area etc. But this place has SO MUCH MORE, a great warm and happy environment. In case you are coming to Villa Gesell this is an absolute must! Treat your self to a few days in this amazing home where theres always awesome music playing and become familiar with some real Argentineans. The staff, its family run by Jorge and his wife and their daughter Lucian, are AMAZING!
