All of it - comfort, location and employees (Alejandra && Alejandro). It is an older property, but the rooms are warm as nicely as the employees are lovely. It has a kitchen and lounge region (located above the kitchen - worth mentioning as I notice some reviewers have mentioned how the kitchen is the only common region which is incorrect). The breakfasts include eggs (a selling point in itself when compared with the usual hostel breakfast fare). Yes, access to the bath rooms means having to go outside, however they&'re just outside the room doors (ie close by). Considering you leave and return to rooms with heated floors, it&'s but a minor inconvenience (and certainly not a noticeable one). It&'s only a 10 minute walk into town (up hill on the return, but manageable) and has fantastic sights of town as nicely as the Beagle Channel. There is a small grocery store just behind the hostel so no need to walk into town for most groceries. It also has a lovely dog as one of the far more permanent residents. I have stayed at what is rated as the very best hostel in Ushuaia and I think this hostel trumps it by far (it&'s also not as noisy at this one).

This hostel does not supply great value for money. There are far much better choices in Ushuaia, for example staying with families with spare rooms, a a lot more pleasant, clean and friendly stay etc. Employees at this Los Cormoranes were not particularly interested, quite abrupt. Although the hostel has the normal facilities, it was not particularly clean with an awful breakfast option. To be avoided.

This hostel does not present very good value for money. There are far greater choices in Ushuaia, as an example staying with families with spare rooms, a much more pleasant, clean and warm and friendly stay etc. Employees at this Los Cormoranes were not particularly interested, quite abrupt. The floor heating is brilliant as nicely as the view amazing!
